KBR is looking for Senior Project Engineer with Onshore project experience in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for PMC project.
Education / Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or another relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
Experience
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day engineering activities and SPIR/spare-parts coordination between the Contractor, Vendors, and relevant Company departments
- Preferably 12–15+ years of Oil & Gas project experience, including EPC/EPCM projects.
- Strong construction and site execution background.
- Previous ADNOC / PMC project experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in coordinating and monitoring multidisciplinary activities, including Mechanical, Piping, Civil, E&I, Construction, Commissioning, HSE, and QA/QC.
- Experience working through the construction, completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover phases of major Oil & Gas projects.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Control and monitor site execution activities within the assigned project scope.
- Ensure effective multidiscipline alignment among the Contractor, Subcontractors, Operations, Engineering, Commissioning, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress against the approved/revised schedule.
- Support construction completion, system handover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization readiness.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality requirements, project specifications, approved procedures, and contractual obligations.
- Lead and participate in site meetings, technical discussions, progress reviews, coordination meetings, and site walkdowns.
- Maintain clear tracking and close-out of priorities, constraints, action items, interfaces, and project deliverables.
- Provide concise progress reporting and promptly escalate critical risks, constraints, and issues to Project Management.
- Demonstrate strong ownership and accountability for assigned site activities, ensuring effective coordination between all disciplines and stakeholders.
