Jobs with accommodation in the UAE: what's included
By Asli UAE · Updated 3 October 2026
For many frontline jobs in the UAE — hotels, security, cleaning, delivery, construction — the employer provides a place to live. Here's how to read what the ad promises, and the questions to ask before you say yes.

Accommodation provided vs housing allowance
- Accommodation provided — the company gives you a place to stay, often shared staff housing close to work.
- Housing allowance — extra money on top of your basic salary to rent your own place. Rents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi are high, so check that the allowance is realistic for where you will work.
Other benefits to look for
- Transport — a company bus or a transport allowance. Important if you work early or late shifts.
- Meals — common in hotels and restaurants: meals on duty in the staff canteen.
- Annual flight ticket home, medical insurance and end-of-service gratuity — ask what applies to your contract.
Questions to ask before you accept
- Is the accommodation shared? How many people per room?
- Is it free, or is anything deducted from the salary?
- Is transport to work included?
- Is it in writing in the offer letter?
Jobs that often include accommodation
Hotel and resort roles (housekeeping, kitchen, service, front office), security, cleaning and facilities, some retail and delivery roles, and many construction and site jobs. Use the Accommodation filter to see the jobs whose ads mention it today.
Common questions
Do all hotel jobs in Dubai include accommodation?
Not all, but many frontline hotel jobs do, especially for staff hired from abroad. Check what the ad says — Asli UAE shows it on every job page — and confirm it in your offer letter.
What is a fair housing allowance?
It depends on the emirate and the area. Compare it with real rents near your workplace before you accept.
