About the role

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Manager – International Tax to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE corporate tax, international taxation, cross-border transactions, tax planning, and compliance, with previous experience working at a Tax Manager level.

This is a senior position requiring someone who can independently manage complex tax matters, advise management on tax implications, and work closely with finance, legal, and other business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage UAE Corporate Tax matters, including compliance, tax planning, assessments, and reporting.
  • Provide expert guidance on international tax and cross-border transactions.
  • Advise on the UAE Corporate Tax implications of international investments, entities, transactions, and business structures.
  • Manage tax implications relating to cross-border transactions, related-party transactions, and group structures.
  • Monitor developments in UAE and international tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support tax planning, structuring, and risk management initiatives.
  • Review and manage corporate tax returns, tax computations, disclosures, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and other applicable tax requirements.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, legal advisors, and other professional consultants when required.
  • Assist with tax audits, enquiries, assessments, and disputes.
  • Provide guidance on Double Taxation Agreements (DTAs) and international tax principles.
  • Review transfer pricing arrangements and ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
  • Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and provisioning.
  • Prepare tax-related reports, analysis, and presentations for senior management.
  • Provide tax advice on new investments, acquisitions, disposals, restructuring, and other strategic transactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional tax experience, with substantial experience in a UAE-based environment.
  • Previous experience working as a Tax Manager is mandatory.
  • Strong hands-on experience in UAE Corporate Tax.
  • Strong expertise in International Tax and cross-border taxation.
  • A professional tax/accounting qualification such as CTA, ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • Experience handling tax matters for companies with international operations, investments, or group structures.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and tax compliance requirements.
  • Good understanding of Transfer Pricing principles and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Double Taxation Agreements and international tax frameworks.
  • Experience with tax planning, tax structuring, and identifying tax risks.
  • Experience dealing with tax authorities, audits, assessments, and external advisors.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
  • Ability to independently manage complex tax matters and provide commercially practical advice.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax/accounting systems.
  • Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
