Job Description
As a Waiter/Waitress at Rixos Al Mairid Ras Al Khaimah, you will provide warm, professional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming experience for every guest. You will follow the resort’s service standards and work closely with the team to keep the outlet running smoothly.
Key responsibilities:
- Welcome guests, answer enquiries, and build positive relationships through attentive service.
- Know the food and beverage menu, recommend suitable options, and identify opportunities to upsell.
- Complete opening and closing duties and keep the outlet clean, organised, and ready for service.
- Respond to guest concerns promptly and refer unresolved issues to the Team Leader for follow-up.
- Monitor supplies, minimise waste, and assist with operating equipment inventories.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health and safety procedures, and participate in required training.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Previous food and beverage service experience in a four or five-star hotel is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service, with the ability to recommend menu items and upsell.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards.
